Kick The Truth?

Hey, the guy in the picture at the top would really appreciate it, if you and your kids would dress more presentable so that the cops won’t have to shoot y’all so much.

That’s right, the leader of the only black clan I can think of, thinks you should make cops feel more comfortable, so they don’t have to shoot you and shit. During an interview with Bloomberg, RZA said this….

“If I’m a cop and every time I see a young black youth, whether I watch them on TV, movies, or just see them hanging out, and they’re not looking properly dressed, properly refined, you know, carrying himself, conducting himself proper hours of the day — things that a man does, you’re going to have a certain fear and stereotype of them,” he said. “I tell my sons, I say, ‘if you’re going somewhere, you don’t have to wear a hoodie — we live in New York, so a hoodie and all that is all good. But sometimes, you know, button up your shirt. Clean up. Look like a young man. You’re not a little kid.”

Really nigga?

The same dude who produced such songs as “Protect Ya Neck”, “Wu Tang Clan Ain’t Nothin To Fuck Wit” and “Criminology” is talking shit about the way the youth dresses? Now this bothers me. This newfound thinking  may come from RZA having sons who could be old enough to be shot by the cops. As it stands now, that age is 12. But he has to remember what he was doing at that age. RZA is 46 years old, I get it. He doesn’t want his kid on the news, dead, after another altercation with local law enforcement. Marching and protesting under the Black Lives Matter banner. Shit, neither do I. But the difference is the influence he has presented in the past. The Wu was the first rappers using the Mafia type names. (Scarface doesn’t count, that was a movie). The Wu had a clothing line that sold these infamous hoodies that is so deadly for our youth.

Ghostface covered his face because he was on the run at the time of their debut. There is a Wu Tang name generator.

My name is Misunderstood Contender. Whatever the fuck that means. Rapper Donald Glover aka Childish Gambino got his name here. Hell, RZA ran with a guy named Ol’ Dirty Bastard. If anybody should be shot by a cop, it’s probably should be an old dirty bastard. Right?

I promise I’m kidding. RIP ODB.

But anyway, it’s quite convenient to do, say and act upon dumb shit when you have no obligations. But the second it effects you and yours, oh, its a whole different mindset. I could post a lot of Wu Tang videos, that could include images of drugs, violence and ignorance. But that’s how RZA made his money. Now it’s not so cut and dry, being that he has seeds old enough to become victims of something he was once a proponent of.

And this guy.

Yeah, so outside of selling a secret Wu Tang album to Pharmaceutical asshole Martin Shkreli, RZA now has parental advice as to how your kids should conduct themselves. Also in this interview, he went on to explain how ALL lives matter, even cows. that’s why he is now a vegan. I’m really disappointed. I understand growth and development, but to totally take yourself out of the loop, is unacceptable. It really doesn’t mean much to me, as I haven’t bought a Wu Tang album since ‘The W’ in 2000. But to convey such statements on a format such as Bloomberg, confirms where your heart lies.
