5-10-15-20: Hip-Hop R&B

Back again with another week of 5-10-15-20.

This week we will explore some of the best hip-hop R&B collaborations from the past 20 years.

We will begin, of course, with 2010.

Two of the biggest stars got together to rule the airways in 2010.

Eminem and Rihanna reigned at the top of Billboard Top 100 charts for seven weeks.

Jeezy had the streets on lock in 2005. Pairing up with the Konvict Akon made perfect sense in 2005.

A certified street banger with a video that mimicked the movie “Paid In Full”, this was a winner.

Big Pun with Donnell Jones. After Pun had already passed, this single was released.

A start studded video with cameos from J-Lo to Mack 10. This was an excellent tribute to one of New York’s finest.

You can’t even talk about this year, or hip hop collaborations ever, if you don’t mention this song. Released in April of 1995, off of the debut Method Man album ” Tical”, this song ran the summer.
